    The_Goose's summer transformation thread
Ok so as a few people know I have been trying to lose weight for a bout 12 weeks already and have lost 21lbs in that time.

Current weight is 186lbs and at only 5ft1 I'm a UK size 16 with a BMI in the mid to high 30's.

So I've posted my pictures in the thread and hopefully this will motivate me to get my arse in gear.

I've had a sore foot for a about a week now which is irritating me and it's making walking rather painful and I can't use my cross trainer =( boo.

Good luck with your weight loss! It's great that you've already lost some, because it means you know you can do it and that's great. I'll be watching your progress .

Honestly not nearly as much as I should... I started couch 2 5k and got to week 4 or 5 but then we bought a house and had loads of stuff to sort + moving to a new town and now I'm not really sure where I can jog (lame excuse I know).

I have a cross trainer (which I have space for in new house, yay!) so have been trying to use that for the last week (we on'y moved a couple of weeks ago). mainly I've just totally overhauled my diet, using MFP helps.

I'm owlgoose on MFP for anyone who wan't to add me =)

That's the problem i think.. I don't know what I'd change.. my net calorie limit is set a 1000 already - and I don't think I buy the whole eat more weigh less thing.

I would say one of the most important rules to stick to is to weigh yourself once a week. It motivates you whether you've lost or not! Also good luck xx

Know exactly what you mean! Which is why I go to Weightwatchers - mostly because it does motivate me to say no to that snack or that second helping etc. Except this week I will be crapping myself because I've been awful haha. That kind of motivation works with me though just find what works for you!

Think a half stone loss on the scales has done it =)

Woop *literally running round house screaming and punching the air right now*

This also bring me to a mini goal, weight is 179lbs and 12st 11. I haven't been in the 12st's since I was 18.

WOOO! well done!! omg you lost half a stone in how quickly?! It took me like 1 1/2 months to lose half a stone

but seriously, WOOO! How much is your ultimate goal? It's good you've set yourself mini targets as well, means you achieve things more often x

3 weeks.. but I have a hell of a lot to lose.

Goal at the minute is to get my bmi into the healthy range, which is about 9st5. so got a way to go yet. need to lose another stone and a half just to be overweight instead of obese!

Ah well at least the scales are going in the right direction and that's really all i care about.

Ultimately though.. I'd really like to be 9st or just below, but I can't ever remember being so low. I dieted when I was about 14 and got to 9st 10, and that's as low as I can remember being since puberty.

Well to lose that much that quickly is amazing so you must be doing a lot right! good luck for the rest of it!!

I am the LAZIEST blogger in the contest! I must start posting in here more.

This post is mainly to tell you all that I had far too much takeaway pizza last night and am therefore avoiding scales until at least August =P

Also, New Covent Garden soups are incredible.

    That is all

    Hiiii

Not too bad, it's tricky really to tell but i think I look better than I did in my before pictures. Joined a fitness club this week and did a spin class. Also manned up, bought a swimming costume and went swimming for the first time in over 4 years, including the agonising semi naked walk through the changing rooms where nobody stares but everyone steals a glance because it's human nature to do so.

Had a charity tea party with cake sale at work on friday and I didn't eat any cake or even any of the cookies that I'd baked so that was also a victory

    What about you?

Glad your doing well im not brave enough to go to a spin class yet, think it would probably kill me, im that unfit still! Im not doing that well, not noticing any changes yet apart from a few pounds lost
I love swimming but that is the worst part having to walk through the changing room, once in the pool everythings ok! Well done for resisting those cakes and cookies, wish i had your willpower x
