Hi!

I have been ricocheting between doing an academic degree (probably English) or something a bit more creative - like a degree in theatre and/or film. I hope to one day be a writer of some kind, and am also intrigued by the idea of doing something related to theatre or film for a living at some point. It just seems that the majority of drama applicants are aspiring actors, and that I am certainly not. And the thing about film making is that I'm no tech-wizard. Would that create a problem?

Would Theatre Studies at Glasgow University be a good choice for me? How about Theatre and Film Studies at Queen Margaret? How creative is English at Glasgow? How about English with Creative Writing at Dundee? Are there any other courses in Scotland I should consider?

If you can answer any of my questions, I would be very grateful.
