I went to a taster session day on Friday at anglia Ruskin in Chelmsford and found the social work talk very interesting, and after reading about it have food it defiantly seems like the course for me. I've looked at lots of different uni's aswell like birmingham city, Leeds met, uni of Bedfordshire and anglia ruskin are just a few.

    How about you?

It is good you already have an idea of what you would like to study at university and which uni to go to.

I have just finished my second year studying Media Production at De Montfort University in Leicester. I have loved the course, the uni and the city :-)

Hi, cool I hope you enjoy it much as I have in the last 2 years. I know a few people who study various art courses here and they all mostly enjoy it.

I am of course very biased, but the atmosphere at DMU is second to none, the Students Union has a great atmosphere around it and the socialising and partying are just amazing experiences.

Now I know the main aim is to do well in your degree, and people here have done exceptionally well, but I also think the social and party side is all part of the university experience.

Ask me anything else you want.

:-) Would be so cool if you did Charlotte :-)

Fingers crossed hehe. But do choose the university you feel more comfortable with after you have visited them on open days, although I would help show you around DMU! :-) xxxxxx

I was in Grosvenor House, loved it as well. There is a lot of talk and threads over which halls is the best and all that, but they are all as equally good as each other re the partying. It all depends on who is in each halls and of course what you make it yourself.

I chose Grosvenor because it was equally as close to the university as it was to the city centre (I like to wander around the centre a lot lol)

Yeah Newarke Point is next to the Fletcher building where you will spend all your time! All the halls are close to the uni though, a couple are a brisk walk away but still well within reach.

Are you single? I wanted to be single when I came :-)

The campus is great, all compact and now the nursing side of things has been brought onto the main city campus site it is all the better, more people to make for a better atmosphere.

Yep, been single is good, you can enjoy everything a lot more, in my opinion anyway lol! :-)
