eBay. I had a clear out last week and decided to sell all the junk I had instead of throw it in the bin. I made £200 from around 15 items.

I was thinking of doing dog walking for people around my neighbourhood...But, I don't know if you need some kind of insurance or something for this though, in case of accidents, e.g. the dog bites you or someone else?
You could try offering a local service, like gardening or car washing, that is if the weather decides to behave! If not, you could try cleaning, decorating....etc. See if your newsagent offers a paper round?

what kind of people pay others to walk their dogs? I thought the point of having a dog was to encourage the owner to get fit and exercise!?! Or is it but just a fashion accessory today?

Well I wouldn't say do this but for me I enjoy a bet now and again. Screw roulette or slot machines, I usually look at a football match in-play and watch over the statistics and gameplay for a few minutes and then make a logical decision on what to place a bet on. (BlaBla to be winning by half time at 1/2 for example) That's not great odds, but when placing £50 quid on that, a return of £25 is nice.

I'm not saying do it, because unless you can really afford to lose a tenner here and there as betting is unpredictable you may lose a lot. Just personally I have made roughly £130 in 3 days on top of 9 hour work shifts, about £300 in 3 days is not bad! Just find something that works for you!

Something more suited would be ebay, when you look over the system and other variables it can be a good extra money-maker

    Good luck!

I see your point, but some people don't have time to walk their dogs regularly because of work restraints etc. Also, there are elderly or ill people who need some help looking after their pets and cannot walk them themselves. You don't always get paid, but it is a good way of helping others in your community and would look good on a Uni application/CV.

Didn't think of the elderly having dogs - You have a point . I volunteer as a maths tutor. That's my bit for the community .
