Fake converse in high street stores?
Been looking for converse the past while and everywhere seems to have them, full retail obviously

    Topman
    Schuh
    Republic

and various others...in fact anywhere that was selling them, was selling fakes.

    What the ****ing deal?

I care because they are cheaply made and are all at full retail, if I'm paying 40 quid I want the authentics.

Unless they actually have the converse logo on them then they aren't 'fakes'.

And I find it very hard to believe you can't find an actual pair...

I can guarantee they aren't, he really means shoes of a similar design without the converse logo.

Do you mean you want cheap shoes that look like converse or do you want actual converse but you don't want to pay more than £40 for them?

If it's the later, get some second hand ones from a vintage shop, the ones I've seen are in the region of £15-£25 for a plain pair.

Why not get something else other then if you wanna look same as other people. Converse are overrated.

TK Maxx often have the real ones in at a far cheaper price.

Schuh sells real converses :/ http://m.schuh.co.uk/product.aspx?icode=1902723270 one of the many they sell...

Your looking at ridiculously priced shops for 'fake' converses, Primark and New Look do the similar style for like £15 (quality - whatever, but you're getting ripped off from Topshop)

I remember seeing river island did them for 10 pounds so you might have to check there.

Never have I owned shoes that have lasted so long, or felt like sturdy socks.

As if real converse were actually any better than fake ones. Converse have always been one of the lower quality shoes on the market, hence the reason they cost £10 a pair.

How do you know they are all fake?
Because they didn't come with the authentic converse "blisters or your money back" guarantee.

Agreed, I still wear the pair I got when I was 13! I turn 21 in 3 weeks.

I don't really understand what the problem is? Do you want real converse? (in which case, you can get them from Schuh, footlocker etc. or online) or is the issue that the fakes are as expensive as the real ones?

And are they labelled as actual converse or could they just be a different brand?
