Hello, im a new member on this website, im 17 and currently in year 12. I am interested in studing medicine however im not doing any sciences in A-level. I have been told by my friends to study a foundation year in medicine, therefore i was wondaring if anyone knows what foundation year in medicine mean and can i take it even though i have no scinece background.

Re: MedicineSome universities will accept a separate personal statement as they understand that many people would have put down these courses as their 5th choices. You should email them directly to enquire about this.(Original post by Emma_206)
Quick question about 5th choice for medicine:
Would the universities accept a medicine PS in either one of zoology, biology or marine biology?
At either Bath, Bristol, York, Exeter or Durham?

Re: MedicineIt would be preferable to switch to science A levels if you can, medicine is competitive enough let alone the pre-med programs.(Original post by success111)
