Can you name this type of bird ??
So I feel like a bit of an idiot admitting this ... But basically, got my 1st tattoo 3/4 years ago, my name and the outline of a bird (cause at the time it seeed an AWESOME idea) ...
I've now decided to get the bird filled in when i go for my next tattoo ... But I can't exactly remember what type of bird it is ... I knew at the time cause id researched all the meanings and stuff, but have literally not a clue now !
If inspiration strikes anyone, it'd be greatly appreciated haha !! -
Re: Can you name this type of bird ??
At first I thought swallow, but when you said you thought it wasn't, I thought dove but the tail is the wrong shape. Is it maybe a swift? Swifts' tails are still split in 2, but not as long and pointy as a swallows'. The only thing that is different is the fact that your tattoo bird's tail is split in two parts but has a sort of step, so it's not a perfect V, you know what I mean? I've been Googling for about half an hour now and can't find any birds which look like that
Sorry! I tried!
