    CEX Used games
I bought a game from CEX today using Store Credit (which I got by trading in some old games) and I absolutely hate it.

If I were to return it tomorrow would they refund the Store Credit so I could buy something else?

Bear in mind that this is a pre owned game, would it be possible?

    Cheers

yeah I think so; look at the receipt, I swear it usually says there is a 7 day period where you can take it back if you don't like it

It doesn't make mention of a refund period on the receipt, but I'm going to go in and try my luck with it tomorrow as I seem to remember a cashier talking about a 48 hour return time limit a few weeks ago.

    Cheers anyway

Yeah I think they usually let you do that with store credit, They dont care because you can only spend the credit in their store. I've tried with cash and they are a bit strange about it in my experience.

:yep: they seem reluctant to trade for cash.

When I was trading in my game the cashier said "I can't give you cash for this because we already have lots in stock". But he said he could give me store credit for it despite having 'lots in stock', bit strange really, a difference of £2 between cash and store credit.

Its because you can just take the cash and go and spend it somewhere else, they are just trying to make money really. I see people in there who come in with loads of stuff for trade in and then they just have to walk away because they wanted cash and they wont do it.
