The Student Room Group

Possible flat share in London, Graduate Schemes.

I have recently been accepted onto a graduate scheme in London, and am looking into if there are any other people in a similar situation (post-grads, other grad schemes, internships) that would be interested in forming a flatshare.

I have looked into renting rooms in existing flat shares, but I would rather share with people of a similar age as Im in my early 20's and a lot of people ask for 23+ or even 25+.

I'm female, but am open to sharing with males and females.

This would be from late august/ early september.

Hey,
I'm starting my Ma at KCL in Sept but I'm looking to move to London in mid/late august.

I'm from Canada (Montreal) and I'm looking to be centrally located in London. I have a budget of 200-250gbp/pppw.

I'm 24, male (gay), studying in the department of war studies, not a big party person.... I like pubs, wine, dinners, lounges rather than clubs and house parties.

Let me know if you'd be interested in chatting!!

Hello. I am still in search of accommodation. I'm not enamoured with using facebook, but feel free to get in contact with me: I'm another 23-year-old male, only I'll be starting an MA at KCL this September.

Hi All

Yes I know! I am 21 also and starting a PR grad scheme on the 3rd of September -ive been contacting a few people about room share's but most people are looking for people like 25+. My problem is, I am going travelling around Europe all summer so would really like to find somewhere before I go...

I see a lot of people here are in the same position...can I just check who is still looking?

If so - what I could do is start a facebook group and add those of you that are still looking? and that way we could sort some flatshares out? its easier on FB as people check this quite regualrly - and we can share ideas about places, locations, prices - then we could just pick somewhere - sign up? and then we can just enjoy our summer's knowing we are sorted?

Let me know if anyone is interested?! If so just post your fb link - and I'll add you to the group..

Thanks

Char

Hey,

I assume you'll have to pay council tax?
For those still searching:
I'm a PhD student, looking for a flat share around UCL from September(ish). Not just looking for a room, actively looking for a like-minded flat mate who I can socialise with (either gender). Get in contact if interested.

Cheers

Hey,

I was just wondering if your still looking, I'm a 20 yr old looking for a flatshare in London with likeminded people as I start an internship for a year starting in September. I too have found that professionals want mid 20's for flatmates and would love some people of my own age! If your still interested then your welcome to add me on fb  https://www.facebook.com/jess.smith.7927

What areas are you looking in? I'm looking to start a flatshare in the Stanmore area. It's cheaper than more central areas but still has good transport links via the Jubilee and Northern Lines.

Hi - regarding flatshare - I am renting out my flat (to share with me) - if you are still looking for someone please do let me know! I am a 22yo law graduate. The flat is just outside of central London on the central line - reasonable rent and it has just been refurbished. If anyone is interested please PM me
