Re: Biomedical sciencesAll courses other than nursing as far as I know are approximately 15 hours a week spread over the week. You could get them all out of the way in three days, or you could have something on each day, its entirely up to how timetabling works.(Original post by Mpierce)
Any idea on wot sort of hours we will be doing? I need 2 carry on working for my first year

Re: Biomedical sciencesYeah haha main reason is because of the cost, for me anyway. Even if I applied for accommodation doubt I would get it because how close I live.(Original post by Mpierce)

ahaa, and need to get to work too!
sounds really interesting, I've done A-levels over the last two years, Health and Social Care, Biology and Psychology. I've done something called Welsh Baccalaureatte aswell, youve probably never heard of it though haha it involves key skills like numeracy, communication and ICT.
Regret not taking chemistry now, feel like I'm going to be at a bit of a disadvantage when we get to the molecular stuff, see how I get on haha -
It's a bummer paying for a car I got 5 years no-claims so it's relatively cheap(Original post by n-jones)

No I never herd of it
I only did basic chemistry only involved 3 units and it's not my favourite subject lol however when I went to an application day the tutor said that the first year is to get everyone to the same standard because people have come from different backgrounds in terms of education and they go through the basics first. How true this is though will soon be found out
We're did u do your a-levels?
