    Buying a flat in Cardiff
Hi, I am moving to Cardiff this autumn and I'm looking at a few apartments. I've been "walking around" using google street view but I'm not sure if the areas I'm looking at are safe or not (or if you have to pass something dodgy on your way to uni/the city center). Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm looking at

    • Roath, Richmond Court
    • St Peters Street, Roath
    • Newport Road, Roath
    • Russell Court - Roath

    Thank you //Sara

You'll probably get a better answer if you post in the Cardiff unis forum.

I'm not too familiar with the area myself, but Roath and Cathays (the area next to Roath) are the main student areas. So they're pretty safe and to get into the city centre you're mainly going down main roads.
