BSc (Hons) Commercial Management (Quantity Surveying) Timetable
    Hi

Is anyone applying to LSBU to study this course or currently enrolled on it? I would like to know on average the number of days !st year students have to attend Uni each week. I live outside London and want to weigh my options as to whether it will be cheaper to travel from home to University or to live closer to the University. I would be very grateful if someone can give me a rough idea.

    Many Thanks.

    Hi there,

I logged into the LSBU student portal and the current year's timetable shows classes for first years on your course are on only three days of the week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

This does not necessarily reflect the timetable for the coming academic year though, which has not yet been published. Teaching time might be on different days and the teaching time might be spread differently over more days - so please don't take this as a guarantee.

So I've emailed the course director to ask for an indication of whether this is likely to change and whether classes are likely to take place on more than three separate days of the week. I'll update this thread once I get a response.

    Hope this helps!

Ok, I have the information you need. It hasn't been published yet and so isn't 100% but is unlikely to change.

Timetables for the next academic year are expected to be published on 13 August on the LSBU Student portal here: http://my.lsbu.ac.uk/

For your course, during semester one, your teaching hours will be Monday afternoon [13.00 – 16.00] and Friday all day [09.00 – 17.00]

    During semester two – Thursday afternoon/evening [13.00 – 19.00] and Friday all day [09.00 – 17.00].

    I hope this is helpful!

Hi I have the information you were looking for.

Timetables for the coming academic year are due to be posted online at the LSBU student portal on 13 August: http://my.lsbu.ac.uk

The teaching times for your course for semesters one and two are as follows are below and highly unlikely to change but I'm afraid I can't 100% guarantee until the timetables are published in August:

    Semester one: Monday afternoon [13.00 – 16.00] and Friday all day [09.00 – 17.00]
    Semester two:Thursday afternoon/evening [13.00 – 19.00] and Friday all day [09.00 – 17.00]

I hope this is useful for you planning - good luck!

Not forgotten you, I'm just waiting for an answer still from the person who does the timetables. They're not strictly ready until mid August anyway.

The Extended Degree [Built Environment] are in all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday in both semesters. Please note, this can't be 100% confirmed until timetables are published on 13 August and is subject to change. These are the teaching contact hours only

I believe the enrolment guides will start going out next week near the start of August, which is when i understand the enrolment system goes live. I'm afraid, as I've explained, you'll need to wait until the are published on 13 August for more details questions about the timetables as they are subject to change.

Hope that helps a bit though!
