    Getting worried now...
I accepted an offer from Southampton Solent university, the only condition was that I achieve MMM in my BTEC which I've done.

I have a D in GCSE English and this was stated on my UCAS application and I did not put that I was retaking.

I have since received a form from the university that I have to fill out and send photocopies of my GCSE certificates with, on the form it lists the type of qualifications applicants should send in starting with "GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or higher"

Will I still get in? This has got me quite worried now.

They were fully informed of the English GCSE grade you have and that you were not retaking it (double check that you did enter everything properly), and they didn't require you to do anything with it. IMO, they are on very shaky ground if they try to refuse to honour the offer.

Call them and explain the situation. Don't start by going in defensive, see what they say first - they may have been fine with a D and that's just a standard form, for example.

Call the uni, don't ask a forum, they can give the most realistic answers. I'd imagine they'd still let you in as it's their error.

Call the uni to confirm, but as long as you didnt lie on the UCAS and they have given you an offer, they are suppose to stand by that decision.

You haven't done anything wrong and if they've offered you a place officially that you've accepted they can't really go back on that.

Even if you found out they generally ask for a C in Maths or English GCSE, they might have accepted you for something else to do with your profile as a student. If Superman couldn't use a vacuum cleaner, should that stop him from being a journalist? [Sorry. That was probably a very bad example. I hope you understand what I mean ]

Technically, they're not obliged to stand by mistakes they have made on UCAS. If they offered you AAA, you got EEE and they mistakenly put it through as successful on results day, they are not obliged to accept you and in that case probably wouldn't.

However and IMO, there is more responsibility on them if the error isn't obvious. In the AAA example, if you achieved AAB and they mistakenly put it through as successful, it's not as obvious that they've messed up - it's reasonable to think that a university might accept you with that.

Similarly, here it's not obvious that not asking for a specific GCSE grade is an error (if it is an error; they might not care) and that's why I would say they are on shaky ground if they refuse to honour it.
