Re: Murray Hall People 2012Thankin' you.(Original post by destinyandchicken)
If I remember correctly, all of the halls have a room like that...
(I couldn't remember where I saw it / the details for the life of me)
Anyone started to figure out what they're taking yet? -
If you email the accommodation people in advance they'll put you up for a couple of weeks for £15 a night but probably not the same room.(Original post by dwyane3)
Hey, I'm 3/35. Jeez, it looks unbelievable that I have already have a place there. But the problem is, that I'll come to Scotland on 23rd August, so I'll be homeless for two weeks or so...

Re: Murray Hall People 2012In that case I would advise that you post on either of these two groups and see if anyone can put you up.(Original post by dwyane3)

Re: Murray Hall People 2012Honestly, I don't know even in which East or West wing I'm staying(Original post by N_iels)
That's awesome. Do you know how many rooms there are in each compartment?
Also, I see you like basketball. I follow the NBA a bit and I like watching it but I'm not very good at playing it haha. I'm more a football guy
That's cool. If we'll get to know each other better, I guess you will know something more about basketball
I have applied for basketball coach job in uni
I love most of the sports. And football is great too. I loved Euro 2012(I guess, in the Netherlands it was not so loved
).

Re: Murray Hall People 2012
For those of you are wondering, rooms 1 - 34 are in the West Wing and rooms 35 - 70 are in the East Wing.
You come into the building on floor 2 and then turn right to go to the west wing or left to go to the east wing.
On each floor, the first half of rooms share one kitchen, shower, bath and 3 toilets and the other half share the same. -
Re: Murray Hall People 2012Thanks for the info(Original post by Stirling2014)

I guess we're both in the east wing then. One kitchen and one shower for 35 people is gonna be a bit cramped but I think we'll manage.(Original post by dwyane3)

I would like to join one of the football teams, it seems there will be trials at the start of the semester so I'll be participating in those. And I do find basketball interesting, I'm just terrible at it because I haven't played it much.
And yeah.. Euro's were disappointing for Holland but it was still an exciting tournament. I would've loved to see Italy win it, too bad it didn't happen.Last edited by N_iels; 19-08-2012 at 18:35.
