I call for a single fixed rate of income tax which everyone has to pay of 30% which everyone has to pay who earns above £20,000 annually. Everyone below this threshold would pay no income tax.
£0-10K: 0%
£10K-20K: 5%
£20K-100K: 15%
£100K+: 25%
In addition, there's also a local income tax (instead of council tax) which local authorities can levy to raise the majority of their revenue (with central grants cut from £75bn to £25bn). -
