    Size 13 Jeans?
    Hello,

Today in TK Maxx I bought two pairs of Dollhouse skinny jeans (one marked at size 14 and one at 22 and jet they both fit lol! gotta love their sizing policy). The sizes are clearly wrong, and the jeans are marked as a size 13 on the inside.

Is that a US size and if so what is the UK size?

Sorry, just never seen odd numbers used on clothes before and its really annoying me about what it means for UK sizing!

    Thank you!

Possibly america, I always thought that they went up in twos like we did (8,10,12 etc) but I read somewhere that someone had size 9 jeans once and I got a pair of hollister shorts that were a size "1"! If it's the same as normal american sizing then a 13 would be equivalent to a UK17 - so basically a big 16 or small 18...but I am terrible at working these things out!

Varies by manufacture, Levi's do girls in size 24,25,26,27,28 etc...

Size 14 would be 32" waist. You just take the 'size' (which is UK) and add 18" to it to find out what inch waist it is.

So the most common, which is size 12, is a 30" waist.

Dollhouse is an American company and uses American sizing, which is 4 below what the UK sizing would be so as the person above said, it would be the equivalent of UK size 17 if such a thing existed.
