When to apply for a GDL
I'm about to go into my third and final year at university (september 2012) meaning that I hope to graduate in july 2013. In september 2013 I hope to start studying for a GDL (General Diploma in Law), and am wondering when to start applying. I have been to see my uni careers advisor and she said that I should be putting applications out this october, but she was a bit vague. I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's doing/has done a gdl, or anyone who's hoping to do one and is better informed than me! thanks

I'm in the same position as you. You apply for the GDL in your final year, I imagine from September onwards.

You apply via the LawCabs website. You can't really apply too soon but you don't lose out by leaving your application until near the deadline. For the record, GDL stands for Graduate Diploma in Law, not general.
