    Books on Audio?
    Bit of a random question.

But, i wondered if you can get copies on the module books or course materials on audio

The reason i ask is that i have a daily commute of three hours, and rather than listening to rubbish on the radio i might as well try and learning something while sat in traffic on the way to work.

On ItunesU (a section in the itunes store) there are plenty of lectures and seminars which are available in audio. The OU also have some stuff there.

What course are you doing? The OU stuff on there isn't great, its a bit sparse.

On the top right corner of the itunes store there should be a bit where you can select to view music or videos or podcasts or ITUNESU. Then when your on the ItunesU storefront you can select what subject you want to look at and can browse courses. Alternatively you can search Open University to find stuff from them, and when you do it scroll down as the search splits up finds from music/podcasts/ItunesU.

You'll most likely find better materials from an american university on there, hopefully covering similar stuff.

I love iTunesU! I haven't even started my course yet and I've downloaded loads to listen to while I walk the dog. What course are you doing? I'm listening to psychology and philosophy podcasts.

I'm going to major in psychology next year, so at the moment im going through courses on basic biology/neuroscience/abnormal psychology and a bit of sociology/crimonology. There is really everything on there. The seminars can be really in depth too...
