Never used it myself, tend to do the absolute opposite! e.g. "who am dat?" when they txt me, kind of like initiation part #1

Thereeeeee we go haha seen that. I like Sascha 'cause he looks like a complete muppet but he perseveres and it works for him. The one where he goes to the Ukraine (I think) is quality. Meets the girl on the street who is on the way to meet friends, talks for ages, arranges to meet up, actually meets up, then he shows pictures of them making out on their date. Guy's got game!

Heres the convo so far:

Me: Hey its *my name*, xx
Her: Heyy x
Me: Ok basically *mate* took my phone and gave me your number :L x
Her: Oh really :L its fine don't worry x
Me: Ok x
(Later on)
Her: Hey you okay baby? x
Me: (took a while to reply as i had work, i mention this in the text) yes i'm pretty good thanks , how are you? x
(She doesn't respond as i finished work at like midnight, possibly sleeping)
(The next day)
Me: Hey you working today? x
Her: Yeah should be x
Me: Ok x
(I then go on Facebook and at the top of the list of statuses theres a status from her saying shes passed her driving test)
Me: Well done on passing your driving test x
Her: We can go on a drive sometime x
Me: Sure it'd be awesome x

From experience, I would avoid the driving thing for now. I once went out with a girl I liked after she had just passed her test. I think the combined nerves of being together and driving while relatively new got to her a bit. She stalled, missed opportunities at junctions and generally became quite irritable. When she was able to get the car moving, she was preoccupied with driving and the conversation died quite quickly. I was left in the passenger seat frightened to say anything and wondering where on earth we were going to go. Complete nightmare.

Anyway - don't keep the text thing going too long or else she will become bored. Ask her out on a date, which is were you do the real leg work.

Edit: Just to confirm - how well do you actually know her?

I think the signs point to her being into into you. I wish the girls I knew were so transparent. Just ask her out for a coffee or drink and see where it goes. Don't bother flirting through text, will just make it awkward in person. I lol'ed at the fact that she called you 'baby' and why the 'x' on every text?
