Basically I have a wharfdale Ipod/Speaker http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/...-dock-cube.jpg

which has a standard 3.5 mm jack socket at the back

I want to attach some smaller speakers (say 2) to create a cheaper version of a surround sound system...

So is it possible to do this (using a jack splitter or whatever method) and will it play the sound/music through all three speakers or just through the smaller attached speakers or at all?

Any advice would be appreciated cheers
