Your celebrity role models based on modern-day society? And why?
Life - most related to you: Floyd Mayweather
Just like myself, Floyd came from a working class background, or to what we called it back then "The Hood". We both went on to become successful boxers (I'm a new professional however, hoping to become established like him - 15 fights; 15 wins; 14 KO; 0 losses). Attitude-wise, he's probably more arrogant than I, but we've both made a life for ourselves, got good bodies, worked hard at the thing we love, so I genuinely believe we have reason to have super-inflated egos and live flash and make money and body the centre of our lives.
Sport: Sir Steve Redgrave
I couldn't have more respect for this man, honestly. 5 Olympic Gold medals. And he was diabetic. The absolute most incredible athlete i've ever seen, or heard of. In my opinion, even more than the great Lance Armstrong. Deserved CBE, and his list of accomplishments are far too numerous to state. Whenever I feel lazy and can't be bothered to go to gym, or see rain outside, and don't want to go gym, I think "Sir Steve Redgrave got onto the boat as a diabetic and won the Olympic Gold for our beautiful country without any complaint, do I really have a ****ing reason not to go and bench 100kg or run 10k?"
Having thoroughly studied Diabetes and wanting to help Diabetes UK for Charity marathons, also having a father who is diabetic and being Asian and aware that they alongside Africans are most-likely to suffer diabetes, I can admire the life of Sir Steve.
Fashion/Style: JLS
Personally, I think they dress really well, don't really care what the TSR hippies think. I wear chinos and trousers and trench coats which they've more recently advertised i.e. in the video "Take a Chance on me" (see Aston at 20 seconds)
Or even chinos with a blazer like at the start of this video
Also, to a club or whatever, I might wear dog tags with chinos and geordie-shore like low-cut v-necks, or the double wrapped low-scarf wrapped around the neck which might seem douchebag-y, but when you go gym, can do 100 press ups in a row, have a good muscular defined chest like they do, then why not? i.e. in the video "One Shot"
Academic: Myself
Believe it or not, before I got a first, and became a sophisticated sexy middleclass mother****er, I went to one of the worst schools in the UK. I didn't even bother going to school much, or even lectures in uni and I got A*s at A-level and a First at uni. To be the best, you gotta beat the best, you gotta work hard, and unlike a great body which I had to work exceptionally hard from as a fat kid, I actually had a talented and blessed mind, which helped me pass exams. Though unlike my body, because it's a natural talent and not something I worked as hard on, i'm not arrogant or vain about it.
Financial: Sir Richard Branson
As a dyslexic child, if you've read his book, and saw some of the low expectations of disabled people that you currently have, and used to be far more in his time, to turn that around and make a life for himself, is most certainly admirable. Again, being a person of charity, his company is the sponsor of one of the biggest charity events in the world, highly useful and money and success motivate me so I believe Sir RB is too a good role model.
