A-Level Results Day Survival Guide
Thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of "what to do's"
I know their is already one but I mean.. how to survive them mentally
1. How to deal with unexpected results (under or over achieving)
2. How to deal with parents reactions (my biggest fear)
3. How to stop oneself from doing something irrational
4. How to convince yourself you are still a good student
5. General coping mechanisms, breathing strategies etc
I'm going to need it !
Also, deciding whether you should take a year out vs Clearing
I've decided if I miss my firm&insurance by a lot then i'll resit but if I get into my insurance i'll go ahead

Not ALL the time... But yeah :P(Original post by FloydRix)
? if you didn't work hard enough you don't get the grades, i don't get the fuss, you put the work in, you get good grades -
Re: A-Level Results Day Survival GuideThanks but
I've read this several times, even printed it off. Made a list of other unis and the numbers. Even came up with a list of pleads
This guide is different, more to do with how to be MENTALLY prepared, with all the emotions and such because I know for a FACT the prior to results day I won't be able to sleep, eat, I'll become psychotic and post results day I'll be drowning in vodka
But my biggest worry is what to say to my strict parents who expect a lot from me :/ -
Re: A-Level Results Day Survival GuideSome people work endlessly, put all the effort in AND still come out with poor grades. Some people don't cope very well with that at all (for example, myself)(Original post by FloydRix)

So I wanted to know how to deal with this
