Hi, does anyone know the dates of the university of leeds freshers week or what date we move into accommodation?

For undergraduates, some accommodation contracts start Saturday 8th (Central Village & Tannery); most other self-catered start Wednesday 12th; most catered plus a small number of self-catered start Saturday 15th. Most of Storm Jameson starts Sunday 16th.
That said, most UK students move in on the weekend of 15th/16th. The first event down at the students union is usually the evening of Sunday 16th; then there's stuff on the whole of that week. There will also be some things organised by your department that you will need to attend and you'll have to do stuff like collect your student card.
Teaching starts the following Monday (24th?)

....which takes hours

And then half way round you usually get told you're in the wrong queue and need to join another, much longer queue, only to get to the front of that, do some stuff on a computer, then rejoin the back of the first queue.

All part of life's rich tapestry though!

In my Ucas it says the same! Which course are you doing??
the 29th is Saturday but that is kinda weird.

The course start dates on UCAS aren't necessarily accurate. Teaching starts on Mon 24th like accomoffice said, you can check this on the uni website.

Thanks they ahve now changed it to the 19th on ucas which obviously isnt right either

The Wednesday of Freshers Week (which this year is the 19th) is always the official start of session. I've never quite worked out why, though.

Its because your attendance after the 19th is not optional, you are just expected to be there. Hence, its considered the start of the year.
Even though teaching starts on the 24th.
