Bursary
I am eligible for a bursary award and, having read the website, I would like to pose a few questions to those who have received the same or similar awards.
Okay, so I qualify for the Royal Holloway Bursaries (£2500) due to having a household income below £25,000. Whilst filling out the SF application form, I ensured that I allowed my details to be passed to the university so that I would be considered. However, it says on the website that: 'All qualifying students will be considered automatically'.
The award is: Students can select from a cash award of up to £2,500, a discount on tuition fees and/or campus residential accommodation, or a combination of all three in £500 increments. Cash awards are normally paid by BACS in instalments.
Thus, if they consider each student automatically, how will they know which option we would like?
Thanks. -
I was wondering this, as if you have the cash you don't get it until December 15, so I wanted it put against accommodation fees, asked several weeks ago about the process, but have yet to receive a response.(Original post by Formerly Helpful_C)

Re: BursaryI have an unconditional place, but do you mean after we attend in September?(Original post by Dedalo)
Just to answer your question - you confirm which bursary you would like once your place at Royal Holloway is confirmed. Hope that helps!
I have firmed the offer, which means I'm going because I took a gap year.
Thanks.
