Warm up down the gym.
It is a quick question asking the people out there what they do as a warm up down the gym.
I currently do 10 min on the treadmill as a warm up but many of my friends are saying it is too much.
I am trying to add a bit of muscle as well as tone.
So what do you do as a warm up????? -
Re: Warm up down the gym.
Its not too much at all, don't worry. Warm ups should be 5 - 10 minutes of low intensity exercise, try to warm up the whole body, but at the very least incorporate all the muscles you plan to be working.
Depends where i am, and what the gyms offers, i quite like the rowing machine, low resistance, just to get the blood flowing, if you are going to be lifting, you can perform the exercise with low weights to warm yourself up too.
