    Branston or Heinz baked beans
I have to say that I've never really thought of eating any baked beans besides Heinz. It's always always been Heinz. Despite the fact that it's not as sweet as I remember but I always chosen Heinz until today.

I saw a post on hotukdeals.com that said Tesco was offering 4 tins of Branston baked beans for £1.25 and I thought what the hell. I've literally just tried it now as a mini-revision break/reward and it's amazing. Seriously it tastes so good. I honestly can't believe I haven't tried it before. I'm going back to Tesco tomorrow and I'm going to stock up.

So mini essay over. Which do you prefer?

    Branston or Heinz?

Branston is cheaper and has more calories than Heinz (£1.50 a pack of four vs £2.18 the last time i checked) I think Heinz tastes better but i'm not really bothered and i buy Heinz when i can afford it.

Branston are better than Heinz but I have to say that the best baked beans on the market are Morrissons own brand.

eh I usually just get Cross & Blackwells, 4 pack for £1 from Iceland..well it's down to a 3 pack now, but it'll go back up to 4.

But I prefer Heinz to Branston.

In general this is nonsense, however my favourite beans happen to be Tesco beans

If you're willing to try own brand beans then you clearly haven't tried them already. :puke:

I do like Heinz but Branston does it for me.... I think it's because it's got more of a sugary taste which I like! :sogood:

Heinz used to be king, until they changed the bean to sauce ratio. Just makes me feel unwanted as a customer and they're too damn runny!
Branston are better, asdas own (not smartprice) are also pretty good.

One thing I can't stomach, stripey label beans. Most salty, chemically enhanced sauce possible, with beans that some are rock hard and others are soft as ****. Disgusting.

Branston tops it for me, as the sauce is thicker, which I prefer.
