Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!If you didn't do anything there's no reason why you should be disqualified. Sounds like a pretty harsh invigilator.(Original post by sanz133)
Doing my sociology paper, when the time was up one of the guys started talking, everyone had finished by then but paper was not handed in, Invigilator said she would have to give our names to the board,
what will happen??

Next time you see the guy, hit him. -
Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!Sorry, haven't been on TSR for a while and forgot that I needed to put it in the A level category(Original post by JollyGreenAtheist)
I know it's a pain, but I'm not sure it qualifies as a "current event"...

Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!The guy who spoke told the invigilator that it was you??? Definitely hit him.(Original post by sanz133)

Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!The school needs to investigate the case, take witness statements and then submit it to the board. If the papers were not collected in when someone talked then it will probably result in the people communicating having that paper cancelled.(Original post by sanz133)

You can't prove what you said didn't allow someone to change their answers, so yes you can be disqualified. But more likely you'll just have your mark reduced by 10%, or possibly a higher percentage depending who decides.(Original post by sanz133)

Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!I don't think anything major would happen. I've seen this happen in one of my exams and all they got was a telling off. I don't think this will effect your participation with the exam board.(Original post by sanz133)

Re: Exam, Disqualified?? help!!
Don't think anything would happen...It may be a bluff, but keep your fingers crossed, perhaps ask a teacher of the relevant subject for advice
On a side note, why start talking? Everyone in my subjects both in secondary/sixthform/uni waited till they got outside to talk....surely the tension in there would have made people think this?Last edited by Dmon1Unlimited; 16-07-2012 at 19:24.
