    Annual natwest railcard panic thread...
    Hi all

I'm a medic in my fifth year of study and have never had any problems with receiving my railcard in the last 4 years. However, I have not yet received mine this year and it expires in 10 days. Not only this, I am currently in Italy until the 8th August and have a train booked for 9th August which it looks like I won't have my card for. Advice on the website says to call 0844 620 2400 but this will obviously cost me an absolute fortune from Europe.

Just wandering if anyone else has not received their card yet, and if anyone has any advice about what I should do about it if I haven't received it by the time I get back? Assuming that they won't talk to parents etc about it over the phone for security reasons...

    Cheers

P.S. sorry if this thread already exists.

I've recieved mine. I'd ring up the bank and ask if its on its way.

From my understanding you only get the rail card for 4 years or untill your 25 which ever comes first, no matter how long your course is. But ring natwest and they will be able to tell you what is going on

I think when i signed up it was 5 years (08-09). If not everyone else on my course has received one when they shouldn't have! Guess I will have to rake the plunge and ring them from Italy.

Do have access to Skype? If so, buy some credit and Skype out. You can at least limit the cost.
