What I need to enter UK
Hi all
I have my Tier 1 visa in my passport. Do I need anything else to clear immigration in the UK?
I was told I might need to bring my Offer Letter from the uni, but that has been sent to my friend's address in the UK, so I won't be able to bring that with me into the UK when I arrive next week.
is the visa / full page sticker in my passport enough proof?
I just don't want there to be any problems!
thanks

Re: What I need to enter UKNo, your passport with the visa is enough, but it is a good idea to bring some proof of study just in case. (at least that's what the consulate in NY told me). They will fingerprint you at passport control to make sure you really are you, and maybe ask you a question or two, but that's it really.(Original post by tdrake1982)
oops yes. Tier 4 :-) -
Re: What I need to enter UK
This is an old thread but I have a question regarding this topic so no point in crearting a new one.
If I am a non-EU national and entering the UK to study, will they ask me if I have a return ticket? I have been to the UK 3 times before, every time entering with visitor visa and they used to ask me a lot of questions, so I was wondering if I need to book a return ticket if I am entering as a student. -
Re: What I need to enter UKI think there's some specific kind of long-term visa for people wishing to come to the UK for studying purposes.(Original post by Na-dia)
