    Aberdeen Naturism
    Hi,
Are you a naturist or have an interest in trying naturism?
Naturism is a fantastic way to help you relax, destress, remove anxiety and help depression, along with other known health benefits. Walking bare foot increases neurodevelopment activity, imagine wearing oven mits all day!
Organisations promoting naturism in the UK are BN (British Naturism), YBN (Young British Naturism), and everyone is welcome to attend (young, old, male, female, singles, couples) there is no discrimination of any kind.
I am currently trying to arrange a Naturist swimming session at the Stonehaven Outdoor Heated Pool.
Naturism has featured on TV lately on Channel 5 in 'My Daughter The Teenage Naturist', in this program a group of students were featured - Daryl from YBN also features in this program.

Naturism is a fantastic way to destress, relax, have less anxiety and beat depression, its also good for your health!

Please PM or reply to this for further information, or anything concerning Naturism.

Naturism or nudism is a cultural and political movement practising, advocating and defending social nudity in private and in public. It may also refer to a lifestyle based on personal, family and/or social nudism.

Several other terms ("social nudity", "public nudity", "skinny dipping", "sunning", and, recently, "clothes-free") have been proposed as alternative terms for naturism, but none has found the same widespread public acceptance as the older terms "naturism" and (in much of the United States) "nudism".

We do get some really nice days in Aberdeen, especially inland. There is also the possibility of swimming pools, and trips down to British Naturism or Young British Naturism events, plus holidays abroad.

I'm fortunate in being able to visit beaches in the south of France on holiday and sunbathe nude, swim in the sea. Good luck to you in trying to arrange an event local to you.

Did you find it helps you relax and get rid of your stresses?

I find it relaxing as it is more comfortable to sunbathe and swim without clothes, and no need for the towel dance. The area I go to doesn't have many of the 'Brit abroad' which in itself I find good too.

The real stress reducing benefit I find is in the winter having a sauna.

Yes, there's about 15 members. We can also offer a special reduced rate for BN membership (worth it just for the forum access). If your under 30 there is the YBN (young British naturists) they organise quite a lot of events for themselves, hopefully the new YBN rep will be there on Wednesday night, fingers crossed.
