I just got accepted to Liverpool, I am an international student and im not sure how this system works. For accommodation, I know that in America there are different halls, and some are better than others. So the first to apply for a room there generally gets it. Is this 'first come first serve' the way things work in liverpool or england? If so which would be the best place to stay at?

please help!
