Minimum possible grade on the IB?
I have to complete a web form for my uni sign up, and since the IB is considered a foreign diploma it asked me for minimum and maximum grades.
While the maximum is 45, what is the minimum?

In theory the minimum score one can get in a subject is a 1, so taking the standard six subjects and getting a 1 in all of them (with no extra points) would land a 6.
However, I was wondering, would it be possible to get N's in all subject by, for example, being guilty of malpractice in every single subject?

    Let me know

That's pretty weird. I guess if you didn't show up / were guilty of malpractice, a 0 overall would be possible.

Either way, I think they're looking for you to write 0 as the minimum. I'm sure it doesn't matter all that much really though.

I'd just put 0 if I were you, even if you would technically not be receiving a diploma.

Dont you need some marks to even get a 1? Because if I remember correctly in A Levels its possible to fail/end up with a U for failing to get the minimum required marks.

Well the minimum grade is obviously 0, but in order to get an IB diploma one has to have attained a minimum of 24 point, with at least 4 points in each of the 6 subjects!

If your score is below 24, you are not awarded the diploma. There are also a couple of cases where you can get 24+ but still not get the diploma, for example, if you don't submit your EE or TOK essay, or if you get E in both.
