I am an international foundation student and I wont be staying in any of the uni halls. My housing contract starts on the 8th of September. When does freshsers start and what would be the ideal time to arrive for uni. My course starts on the 24th of September.

International Welcome Week starts the week before on the 17th.

If you have a house sorted with other people or even if not, I'd probably arrive on say the 10th, just to have some time to get a look around the area, campus, and city centre.

There won't be many students about until the 17th/24th but you can always pop into the Students' Union
