    What career options this degree can give to a teacher, who has not gained QTS yet??

    Why would you be interested in doing a postgraduate degree in special needs if you do not have QTS yet? You are limiting yourself to working as a teaching assistant as far as I can see.

    Most people who specialise in special education do so because they work in large schools and receive extra money, work for local authorities, or work in education departments and are qualified to identify special needs (e.g. dyslexia).
