So I got an e-mail a few weeks ago about money that's been put into my account because I'm the recipient of a Classics prize. I can't currently check my bank account because of banking problems/ not being in the UK at the moment. I've e-mailed back the office but it's been almost 20 days since then and still no reply. Has anyone received this prize and if yes, can you tell me more about it?

PS I've just finished my first year. I don't even know what it is that qualifies one for that prize - is it the grade you got in your exams?

I think it's a prize for getting the highest marks in your whole year. Most/all departments in the university give out these prizes I think, though I've never received one D:

Well done on your prize! I received one about French but like you are unsure of the money part. It says on MyCampus that they awarded me money, but then refunded it. I'm not sure if this is because I don't have my bank account details on the system. Do you have a bank card/account registered on MyCampus?

That's a shame they haven't got back to you. I'm not sure who to say to about it.
