    Party
I have been invited to a party in a few weeks with about 30 other people my age (16). My concern is alcohol. I've been drunk a few times at small gatherings with my friends, without my parents knowledge. I don't think they would be angry at me, but they will be shocked if they knew. At family gatherings I've always been really frigid with alcohol, I don't know why but I'm not comfortable saying "I'll have a beer" to my dad. This party will probably have alcohol, and I want a drink. The problem is I don't want my parents seeing like my mates bringing crates on the way there, or pictures of me drunk with a can in my hands on facebook.

    What can I do?

Block your parents from seeing your facebook photos
Make your own way to the party.

    Problem solved.

I think your parents will know that a party with a bunch of 16 year olds will involve alcohol!
So if they see your friends bringing it, its not your problem.
If you can drink and want to, just be sensible. Getting off your face will make them trust to less, but not getting over carried away will show responsibility.
With regards to fbk, just don't get pictured holding a can/glass....simples!
    Have fun!

I had my father take me to a party when I was 13. Fair to say he saw the copious amounts of alcohol being carried inside when he dropped me off. Told me not to be stupid and I was on my way. It was a cracking party to say the least.

You will probably be surprised at how your parents may react, remember they have once been 16 before. They will have got drunk before when they were younger possibly, just do what your comfortable with

If the OP was my 16yr old I'd just tell him to not go mad where the booze is concerned.I wouldnt be angry at him for drinking.

If your parents were vehemently opposed to you drinking, they wouldn't allow you to go in the first place. I would be very surprised if they were completely oblivious to the fact you were going to be in the presence of alcohol.

your parents are probably not stupid, but just delete them off of facebook or give them completely restricted access... go to the party on your own accord, get mates to take you.
