    Last minute course change.
I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of this happening before.

I have an offer from Warwick for maths however if I'm honest I don't think I will get the grade in STEP. I have emailed Warwick admissions about changing my offer to MORSE however I probably won't get a reply until Monday or Tuesday.

I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of this sort of thing happen before or should I just hope for my back up now?

Also, what do people think of the MORSE course?

    Thanks in advance

It's possible but hard to say if it's likely. With Warwick maths, your application isn't looked at properly, and they give offers to pretty much anybody predicted AAB or higher.

With Morse, they would have to look at the candidate in a much more detailed way.

I'm sure Warwick get a lot of potential mathmos emailing around this time trying to change course due to a lack of confidence in obtaining the grades required but as you can see they can't easily change you to another course as other course offer holders are held to a higher initial standard (pre-results).

Thanks for your replies the reason I would like to do MORSE now instead of maths is I have decided I would like to be an actuary which Morse looks perfect for, It's not just the grades as I could have got the step and almost certainly have the A levels for maths.

I will just wait for their reply then and if not and I don't get into Warwick for maths I may take a year out

    Thanks for your replies
