I decided to resit my AS's this year after thinking it would take no effort and ending up with DEUU

This year I am predicted a A in my maths after recieving 95% in c1 in january..i am likely to get a B in my second subject however do not think i can get above a C in my 3rd subject

Does anyone agree with me on saying next year for A2's it would be worth droppin my 3rd subject and taking up furthermaths AS .??

this would give me 2 A2's ,which are likely to be at B's and then 2 AS's, the one I drop and a furthermaths..

P.s - im looking at doing maths at uni and am thinking that furthermaths AS will help me in my first year at uni

You're going to need 3 A2's for most courses. Further maths will definitely help you with applyin to uni but I'm pretty sure most courses ask for 3 A2 grades.

it depends on what you want to do uni wise really

the universities that make offers based on grades usually want three a levels sooooo, make your decision based on that ?

No stick with 3 A2's, as above. By all means take up FM, but don't drop a subject for it.

i have found quite alot of uni's that say at least 2 A2's n then they just want them both to be B's .so ill be alright with that

plus there is no way ill get a pass in my third subject at A2 so i dont see the point in carrying on with it lol id rather get some more UCAS points in something else
