I love the aspect of the Android OS! I know i can root and mess around with. It just seems more free. And i love to watch movies from the raw formats once downloaded.

I really would like your say on this guys. I am really leaning towards the Touchpad as it looks epic and Ice Cream OS is the one for me! xD

The Playbook is currently £129 from Currys and PC World, but it is an online exclusive price.

My vote goes to the Playbook - it is a fantastic piece of kit if you don't mind the lack of apps.

Edit: having looked at the link, I'm shocked that anybody would even consider buying such outdated technology. The screen resolution is poor, as is the amount of RAM. Why don't you spend £30 (40 with postage) more and get the Nexus 7? I love my 8GB Nexus 7. It has a great screen, 4 cores and a good battery life - not to mention Jelly bean.

Do not buy a BlackBerry PlayBook!

I have a few of them and they are useless, there are virtually no good apps, and the basic ones you have to pay for. I use my device for reading only and watching movies on long trips.

Get an Android tablet, you've got thousands of apps and it's a better platform. The PlayBooks are getting a major update this summer, but it still doesn't beat an Android tablet. The OS on PlayBooks is locked down, there isn't anything you can do in terms of customisation or anything.

Neither. The BB isn't a good tab plus it is due for a major replacement. It isn't that nice to use either.

The CnM.... crap specs, better off buying a 2nd hand Samsung Galaxy than to waste good money on this.

Seriously: the Playbook is rubbish and any 10" Android tablet at a similar price is also rubbish. Just get a 7.
