Any idea what you'll call your baby?
I've recently decided that if I have a girl, I'll call her Courtney, as i think it's such a beautiful name.

Do you have any names which you'd definitely like to name your baby if and when you have one?

I'm still not sure I want kids, but if I had a boy, I'd want to call him Noah. It's so nice
For a girl, I like Romana. It's a bit big and grand though so I'm not sure. Isabella's pretty too.

Katrina Ingeborg <------ I didn't have any input with this as I didn't even know of her existence till she was 5.

Emilie Gertrude <---- her name is derived from my late grandmother whose name was Emilia. I wanted to name her after my own mum, but Chinese customs doesn't allow the naming of a grandchild after anyone who is still alive. Gertrude is the name of my great grandmother.

Matthias Ferdinand <----- He is named after my dad and granddad.

If I have another one then :-

Girl, I would like the name Sofie, but my OH's name is Sofia We probably would name her Bettina Annakarin, after my OH's mama and my aunt.

Boy, we will name him Karl Thorbjorn, after an uncle of mine and Thor the brave norse god.

There's a DJ at a rock nightclub that I go to that I'm quite friendly with - we speak on facebook and so on, and his name is Karl Thor Bowman.

    And he looks like Thor.

Re: Any idea what you'll call your baby?
    Girls -

Fiona Margaret - after my cousin Fiona, who was a very brave woman and died named Andrew (transgender), after my aunty Fiona who's a church minister. Margaret after my mum's aunty, who's an amazing woman. Also after the midwife who delivered me, and my biological gt grandmother. Marg also comes from my adoptive grandmother, Margery.

Wendy Sophia - the Wendy part after someone who's helped me a lot. Sophia because it's a family name.

Felicity Flora - after my maternal grandma and sister plus the first girl I befriended at Brownies years ago. Flora - family name.

Kathlyn Annie - Kathlyn, after my mum and aunty. Annie - the name of my step adoptive paternal grandma, her grandma who died in an asylum of depression, and my other two gt gt grandmothers (amazing women, one of whom also died in the asylum and the other of whom was an orphan by age 13 but still lived to be an - I'm told - lovely mum, grandma and gt grandma). Kathlyn is also after my adopted cousin, who's a lovely wee girl and inspirational after the hell she went through at a very young age (physical abuse).

Boys - Hamish Dale, William James, Fraser Donald and Davey Roderick - All apart from Dale are family names; Dale is after my godmother's son who was born severly premature with cerebral palsy, my wee hero who's always smiling and laughing. Roderick is primarily after my baby cousin who was murdered by his father before he turned two. Father not my relative and the mother was acquitted due to learning difficulties but still a very, very sad story and I think naming my child Roderick would be a good tribute.

Hopefully I'll get my wish and if I do have kids, will be able to name them as I want haha!!

Girls I'd name Lily May or Olivia Rose (just because I like the names) and the first names I definitely want but not certain on the middle names as keep changing my mind and boys I'd name Oscar Patrick or Alfie James, for these I like both first and middle names (the male middle names are sort of family one's whereas the female one's are just to be nice) but not sure if that combination or the other way round or if I only had one then they'd have both as middle name.
