Mechanical Engineering - Nottingham Vs Sheffield Vs Newcastle Vs Bristol (Deferred)
I don't know if I've done this right seen as it's my first thread but anyway,
I applied for 2012 entries for Mechanical Engineering at Bristol, Imperial, Newcastle, Sheffield and Nottingham last october and have recived offers from:
Sheffield - AAA MEng 2012
Nottingham - AAB BEng 2012
Newcastle - ABB 2012
Bristol -A*AA 2013
Bristol was my first choice university but I wasn't considering a gap year and I was wondering what to do. Im forcast to get A*A*A in Maths Physics and Chemistry respectively. Im not sure if I should have a gap year and accept a deferred offer from Bristol, have a gap year and re apply next year to better universities or to accept one of my 2012 offers.
I'd prefer to go to uni in 2012 but want to know how much my job prospects will vary from going to one of my 2012 choices as aposed to bristol in 2013. I want to have a good social side which is why im not fussed at all about imperial rejecting me but bristol struck me as the best compromise for the whole "work hard, play hard" thing. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance. -
Re: Mechanical Engineering - Nottingham Vs Sheffield Vs Newcastle Vs Bristol (Deferre
Which university would you recommend out of Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield regardless of the BEng at Nottingham becasue they said I'd be able to change to the masters after my second year anyway. I was thinking about maybe doing a Phd after my degree so would any of them set me up better than the others?
Cheers. -
Re: Mechanical Engineering - Nottingham Vs Sheffield Vs Newcastle Vs Bristol (DeferreI don't know anything about those universities so can't really say, but again it won't matter if you want to do a PhD.(Original post by What's up bro?)
