    Catered Halls Meal Times?
I was just wondering if anyone who lived in catered accomodation on University Park last year knew what the meals time were for breakfast and dinner? I'm assuming lunch will be anytime on campus.

I'd especially like to know what times dinner is served in the halls, to see if it'll clash with a sport society I'm interested in joining.

I stayed in the accomadation for a week when I was attending a conference.

The food was... edible. Most of the time. It's not as bad is it is at some universities. I'm sure you'll get used to it.

I have no idea about the times though, sorry.

Breakfast last year was 7:45-9:30am, and dinner was 5:30-7:00pm on weekdays. At the weekend, there's brunch from 11:30am-1:30pm and dinner's from 5:00-6:00pm. Hope that helps.

Is there any way that people living in self catered accommodation can have one-off meals at catered halls if they just pay as they would at any take away? Just wondering, for days when I can't be bothered cooking!

I'm at Jubilee and never had any problems with non-halls mates getting a meal in the atrium and paying cash - not sure about other halls!

Yeah, I think they're £4 and you get whatever the people in halls have.

    For campus halls it's:

    £1.50 for breakfast
    £4 for tea
    £5 for brunch

Well I guess its time to throw my portuguese eating habits out the window, no more dinner at 9pm
