English students applying to Scottish uni's or vice versa through clearing
    Hi,

Is anyone from England thinking about applying to uni in Scotland or vice versa?
I am at liberty to apply to uni anywhere in the UK and I haven't ruled out uni's in Scotland, Wales etc.

Is it likely eg Scottish uni's would prefer Scottish students? Also as I'm applying for Speech Therapy I'm also worried this won't go down too well accent wise! in short I'm afraid they will hear my terrible essex accent despite my posh "telephone voice" and I won't be able to understand the Scottish accent...

Thanks for reading, sorry about the rambling! This waiting for clearing and for my results is just killing me ahhh!

They won't prefer Scottish students, they'll consider Scottish/English/etc all equally and your accent won't make a difference.

    Good luck
