The next TSR Ski and Snowboard trip is coming…
The latest post from the TSR Blog:

Oh yeah, that’s right. Following the success of our first EVER(!) TSR Ski and Snowboarding trip earlier this year, we’re now recharged and ready for more! We learnt a lot from the last trip (when we took 53 students to Alpe D’Huez), but we can still learn more. Let us know where you’d like to [...]

Looks pretty awesome, only being skiing once and would love to go again. I'll look into it.

Would it be possible to somehow hold it a bit earlier? I wanted to go last time, but I feared the conditions would be a bit.. temperate

Or at a higher altitude, apparently it was getting a bit slushy around the afternoon last year?

edit: We at the Snowsports Soc at Bath Uni went to Val Thorens last winter, which was amazing. Also highest in Europe - so would hold up best in late-season, hopefully? Anyone else been?

Did you pop your feedback in the survey we have up? (If not, here it is: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JPFS5LV)

It was a little slushy late time because it was heading into the off season. We're taking a look this time at when people can do and when they'd prefer, then checking out the prices so will get back with more when we have it :top:

    £339
+ ski/board hire (which was about £60-£90 depending on the level of equipment you wanted) and lessons if you wanted them.

Yep. Price covers travel (which was a coach last year), ski pass and hotel - you then pay extra for equipment if you need to hire it and lessons if you want lessons. Then just need money for food and drinks / social

Sounds pretty decent, once the details come out I'll give it some thought.

    Yess!

    Filled out the survey.

Cannot wait to go - and we can book none TSR members too? my bestie wants to go with me too!

Val Thornes http://www.valthorens.com/ - heard its really good for skiing - highest in Europe and has amazing night life to go with it too, so plenty to do for students!

Ive been to Zell am See, Austria, however its a pretty small village where we stayed and there isnt much in terms of nightlife and apres skiing activites and it does cost quite a bit to get to the main town.

Obviously america is out of the range for most people was around a grand when i went but anyone thats been skiing in Vermont - Killington is amazing and the varitey there is amazing, but obviously its Europe only.

but Val Thorens if were looking for an all rounder
