Re: Have you ever told a teacher/lecturer that you fancied them?My counsellor decided that my relationship with a tutor at my college was sexually charged and kept banging on about it until I believed it. (Context: I was really psychotic and you're not meant to give psychotic people psychodynamic therapy. This ******** did anyway though and failed to recognise that I was being abused, rather than anything sexual going on. I was so out of it that I ended up believing what he told me though
)
This all tipped me over the edge because I was so confused about what was going on and how I felt. So I tried drowning myself in the college lake When that failed and in trying to explain to this tutor what had happened, I declared my undying love 
The fallout was quite nasty and the whole episode has left me very ill and broken

So he would do anything to get into her good books - the funniest incident was probably the old "pen drop" trick. He'd basically fling the pen off his desk for it to land near her, then call her over pretending he was stuck on something. He would finally request her to bend over and pick up the pen whilst getting a front seat view of the action; I think he eventually told her about the crush but can't remember what happened
