Can't understand my ex's behaviour?
So my ex was the one to finish to me after being together for years. She left me with my heart in two pieces, but she always had this thing where she was being super nice about it and insisting how we should be super good friends after it and not be horrible to each other and that would be nice.
I finally told her after a few months of her trying to casually, nothing massive, but just saying hello or whatever that I was ready to be friends, I'd moved on and now I could speak to her.
Since then she's just been an absolute unimaginable bitch to me. It's like why are you being like that now? Being rude to me after begging me to be nice about everything.
It's like I've upset her because I've finally grown some balls and told her I've moved on.
Why would she be like this? -

Honestly mate, I was in the same situation as you about 18 months ago. I didn't have a particularly bad break up, but she wanted to stay friends. I just couldn't do it so I ignored her. She still tries to contact me every few months, although she hasn't for about 4 or 5 months now.
She was a bit of a bitch because I ignored her when we broke up and I told her not to talk to me for a bit.. met up with her a week after and she greeted me at the train station holding some guys hand. I just turned around and got back on the train.. didn't even say a word.. I mean that was just taking the piss. Since then I haven't spoken a word to her, ignored every little breadcrumb.
IMO it's not worth staying friends, depends on yourself really, but I would find it too awkward, and also the fact that I don't think we'd make great friends anyway.
