Laptop Advice - is lenovo the best?
I have been browsing threads here and Lenovo is being suggested for students. I am looking for a laptop just for ordinary uses, internet browsing, music, work, e.g. microsfot word, so basically student uses. Not for gaming.

Please can you guys find me a laptop?
Preferably an i3 and under £500

Also, the sites which are being suggested - i'm not too keen on them, especially when looking at the stuff they have written about returns, as it wont be buying from the official company which I could easily return!

    Thanks.

There is no 'best' brand out there. Why? Because everyone has different experience of every brand, its never consistantly good because every batch of laptops made will have a few that will become faulty.

I would say Lenovo are an above average brand.

If you're only using it for low power stuff, get an old thinkpad.
