    Best friend's now really possessive
Basically, one of my close friends had a little girl recently and she decided to name me and my best friend her god mothers. Ever since the child's been born my best friend has changed completely. She's really possessive and territorial whenever we go to visit our other friend and her daughter and she's always boasting about the stuff she's done with her.
I feel like she's trying to turn the situation into a competition of who's the best god mother and I'm not really sure what to do as it's making me feel really uncomfortable and in some cases very left out.
    Any help appreciated

Visit your godchild on your own more often? Your godchild is lucky to have two godmothers who are competing to be the best I guess.

Ignore her or better still just casually tell her she's making herself sound like a dick.

you need to find a way to point out to her that spending time with this child isn't a competition. not sure how to do that without causing an argument though

Your friend sounds ridiculous. My niece has 5 aunties and we're all equally awesome
