    What are YOU looking for in a graduate job??
    Hi guys,

    I'm writing an article about the differences between male and female graduates when it comes to looking for a job, following a recent study.

    If you'd like to be included, it would be fantastic if you could give me your full name and the Uni you graduated from, along with a little quotation or two summarising the key factors in your job decisions.

    I'm mainly looking for information concerning job satisfaction, which industry you'd like to work in, your expected starting salary, and the size of the company you'd like to be in.

    If you'd be more comfortable sending me the information privately or would like any further information, please feel free to send me a message!

    Thanks all

    I have a job, but the following is what I was looking for during my search.

    The answers to your questions are as follows;

    -Male
    -I shall not disclose my true identity publicly. However see below for hints;

    Ugh, fine, you got me... I'm a Liverpool fan *ohh the shame* :lfc2:

    -Aston University (just graduated)
    -I wanted a satisfying job, which I guess for me would be a job that is engaging, challenging and offers responsibility. In reality I probably sacrificed a chunk of satisfaction for prospects (time will tell).
    -I was interested in accounting roles (professional services industry), analyst roles (automobile industry) and consulting roles (technology industry). Go figure, I like variety.
    -I was looking for 25k+ starting salary ideally.
    -Each to their own, but for me size is important (ladies :perv:). I wanted an industry leader, preferably in London.

    Name: Bloodbath MU (Master of the Universe) Oxon
    1) Salary £30k+ though more dependant on salary levels in mid to senior positions
    2) Something that you can make a difference in. For instance in consultancy 1 man or a small team can radically change a business. However working in a call centre you just get abused
    3) Bottom heavy organisation. Don't really want to be stuck working for a bunch of old men while I am young and still have my good look. BH organisations tend to have a better social life
