    Am I still a student? Confused.
    Hi,

    I have a part time job and i need to fill in a tax form so that i do not get taxed because i'm a student.. i think?

    I just finished college a few weeks ago and will be going to university this September..

    Doe that mean i'm still a student?

    I think it may vary with different situations.
    In some cases the offer letter for university is enough to prove that you're still a student but you should double check!

    You still get taxed if you're a student.

    The tax form won't be because you're a student but because you're presumably in a low income bracket so you shouldn't be affected. Reminds me I need to sort out mine in case I get taxed unnecessarily :/

    Yep thats right.
    And no you wont be a student over summer as you're not enrolled anywhere.

    I'm between school and university. I work at Tesco and when I asked they said I was still a student. So yeah your still a student

    If you have a confirmed place at university, I would assume you're still a student. For the sake of 6 or so weeks, I can't see why your status would change
